1. How long until I receive my server information?
All Ventrilo server packages are setup instantly after your payment is accepted. The server information is delivered via email to the customer's inbox. If a customer does not receive an email within 10 minutes of purchases, please submit a support request at http://support.maxfrag.net.
2. What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept MasterCard, Visa and Paypal. Some prepaid credit cards require online registration before we can accept payment.
3. Are there any hidden costs, or setup fees?
There are no hidden or extra fees associated with any of our Ventrilo hosting packages.
4. How often will I be billed?
All packages are billed by the following cycles: monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually. Customers may receive discounts if they choose to prepay.
5. How long has MaxFrag been in business?
MaxFrag has been in business since June 08, 2008.
6. Can I upgrade at any time?
Yes, you can upgrade your package at any time by talking to a representative. It is free to upgrade and the only charge will be the price difference in the package you upgrade to.
7. What is MaxFrag's refund policy?
MaxFrag offers a 3 day Money Back Guarantee. This offer is only available for new customers. There is no refund for server upgrades, or any unused months.

8. What level of support do you provide?
MaxFrag provides 24/7/365 Customer Service via our Support Center (http://support.maxfrag.net). Customers can submit a ticket any time, day or night.

9. Where can I find a coupon?
MaxFrag offers a variety of discounts for new customers. We are usually running specials on our popular packages and coupons can be found on the front page. If MaxFrag is not currently running a special, you may use Google to locate a working coupon :)
10. Where are your offices located?
MaxFrag's primary location is in Wilmington, DE. The majority of our support staff members are located in Vancouver, BC and various cities in United States of America.
11. Is MaxFrag licensed by Ventrilo or a Ventrilo reseller?
MaxFrag is a Ventrilo reseller of a licensed host.
12. Does MaxFrag offer all Ventrilo high quality codecs?
Yes. All of our packages are equipped with every codec. We do not charge you more for higher codecs.
13. Are your servers compatible with Mac?
All of our Ventrilo servers come with Mac compatible codecs. To make your Ventrilo server compatible with Mac users, you must change your Ventrilo codec to Speex in the MaxFrag Control Panel.
14. Can I test your Ventrilo server before buying?
Yes. MaxFrag has a test server in each one of our locations on our homepage. All of our test servers are configured with the highest GSM codec.
15. Where will my Ventrilo server be hosted?
All of our customers can choose any one of our 22+ locations around the globe. To view our locations, please visit http://www.maxfrag.net/ventrilo-locations.
16. Do you provide free or sponsored Ventrilo servers?
No, we are not currently sponsoring any individuals, teams, or organizations. For free ventrilo hosting services, please visit http://freeventriloserver.net.
Billing and Accounting
1. How can I update my billing info?
To update your billing information or any account information, go to http://my.maxfrag.net and select Billing Center from the drop down. After you have logged in, you may navigate to the various options and edit.
2. How do I cancel my subscription?
Paypal: All Paypal subscription cancellations must be done through the Paypal website (http://paypal.com). After you have cancelled your subscription from paypal.com, your server will automatically be cancelled on your next billing period.
Canceling a subscription cancels all future scheduled payments of that subscription. A subscription can be canceled up to the day of the next scheduled payment.

3. How do I request a refund?

4. How do I upgrade my Ventrilo server?
If you would like to upgrade your Ventrilo server to a new package, please submit a ticket to our Support Center @ http://support.maxfrag.net. Our staff will kindly guide you through the steps to upgrade your server.
5. I forgot my password, how do I reset it?
To reset your password, you simply go to http://my.maxfrag.net and hit Forgot Password. After you enter in your email and click submit, you will receive instructions on resetting your password. If you do not receive the email, please seek assist @ http://support.maxfrag.net.
General Questions
1. What is Ventrilo?
Ventrilo is a VoIP (Voice over IP) client application which allows
real-time communication through hosted Ventrilo Servers. It works
independently of other applications (e.g. Video Games) so you can go
from program to program without losing contact with others. A Ventrilo
server is great for competitive gaming clans as well as for conference
calls with a number of clients. Ventrilo Server Hosting is available in
multiple locations ensuring a low-latency voice chat environment that
is stable anywhere in the world!
2. What is Mohawk Voice?
Mohawk Voice is a VoIP (Voice over IP) client application which allows real-time communication through hosted Mohawk Servers.
Mohawk was designed purely with simplicity in mind. The application requires far less computer resources (CPU/RAM) compared to other leading applications. This reduces game lag caused by low FPS (frames per second) due to high computer resource consumption.

Control Panel
1. How do I manage my Ventrilo server?
To manage your Ventrilo server settings, you must login to your web-based control panel. This control panel can be found at http://my.maxfrag.net. Use the same username and password you used on your Billing account.
2. How do I manage my Mohawk Voice server?
To manage your Mohawk Voice server, please go to http://maxfrag.tcadmin.net. MaxFrag uses a 3rd party control panel for both Mohawk Voice and TeamSpeak 3. Your username and password is not the same as your billing account. Your Mohawk panel username and password was selected upon ordering. If you have lost your password, you may click Forgot Password @ http://maxfrag.tcadmin.net.
3. How do I spawn a backup server?
If your server is down, you may create a backup server from your control panel. If you are using Ventrilo, your control panel is located at http://my.maxfrag.net. Once you are there, click Manage Server and Spawn Backup Server.
Ventrilo Questions
1. How do I connect to my Ventrilo server?
To connect to your Ventrilo server, click the second arrow on the top of your Ventrilo panel. This will bring up a new box called Connection Editor. On the new panel click the New button at the top. This should open up a new box asking for the name of your new connection. After picking your connection name it is time to put in your Ventrilo server IP. Make sure you put the correct port and password in for your Ventrilo server, and hit OK. Now you can select your Ventrilo server from the drop down list, and click connect. You are now connected to your Ventrilo server.

2. Why can't my guests talk in channels?
If you and your users cannot speak in any of your channels, the likely cause is that Guest Account Transmitting is disabled.
To fix this:
1. Login to Server Admin (Right Click -> Server Admin -> Login -> [enter your rcon password]
2. Open Edit Channel Window (Right Click on Channel -> Channel Admin -> Edit)
3. Location 'Disable Guest Account Transmitting' and uncheck it.
This should solve your problem. If you are still having trouble, please contact MaxFrag support.

3. How do I create my Ventrilo username?
To create your Ventrilo username click the top arrow button. This should open a new box labeled Setup User, after this is open click the New button located at the top. Here you create your Ventrilo username. After typing out your desired username hit the OK button, here you can also choose a phonetic. A phonetic is the text to speech feature that everyone hears when you connect and disconnect. After hitting OK again your username is all set up!

4. How do I unban myself from my own server?
To unban yourself from your Ventrilo server first you must login to your Ventrilo server’s panel. After logging in select the Ventrilo server you wish to manage. On the new bar labeled Selected Server there is an option called Manage Bans. Here you can select the ban on yourself and click delete. This will effectively unban you from your Ventrilo server.

5. How do I record on my Ventrilo server?
Recording through Ventrilo is very easy. To start recording on your Ventrilo server right click anywhere on your vent application. Once the drop down menu is shown go to View then Record/Playback. Once you do this a new window will appear labeled Record/Playback. To start recording click the Record button located on the bottom. This will start your Ventrilo recording. When you are down recording your desired material go back to the Record/Playback tool and click stop. This will stop your Ventrilo from recording any further conversations. To playback a conversation jus select the target file and click Play.

6. How do I upgrade my Ventrilo server?
All upgrades must be requested through our Support Center. To request an upgrade, please email support@maxfrag.net or submit a ticket @ http://support.maxfrag.net.
7. How do I edit guest users?
To edit guest users on your Ventrilo server open your User Editor. Once in the User Editor highlight [Guest] off to the left side menu, then the text box labeled Login Name should read [Guest]. This now means your guest tab is open to editing. Now you can change all of the settings and allowances you wish to give to your guests. Once you are ready to exit hit the Update button on the bottom. This will save any changes you made to your Ventrilo servers guest accounts.

8. How do I configure reserved slots on my Ventrilo server?
To put someone on your Ventrilo servers reserved list right click on your Ventrilo program and go to your User Editor. There under the tab Network there is a check box labeled In Reserved List. Make sure the box is checked for the user you want to allow to be in the reserved list. Once you’re done click the Update button and your target user will be added to your Ventrilo servers reserved list!

9. How do I create, use, and edit ranks on my server?
To create ranks for your Ventrilo server, right click anywhere on your Ventrilo program. Go to Server Admin > User editor. The fourth drop down box should have a button labeled Rank List. Click on that button and a new window should pop up called Rank List. To create a new ranking go to Add. The abbreviation is what Ventrilo will tag the users in the server. The description is a short description of the ranking, and lastly the level number is how powerful the ranking is. Once you fill everything out hit OK, and your rank will now be listed! To apply the rank to a user select the desired rank on your User Editor via the drop down menu and click the Update button on the bottom of the User Editor. Now the target should be assigned a rank on your Ventrilo server!

10. How do I change my server's MOTD?
To edit your Ventrilo servers MOTD, right click and go to Server Admin there you will see an option labeled Motd… Once you open up this option a large text box will appear. This is your motd. Make whatever changes you want and then hit the Send button. This will change your motd for all of your users.
Ventrilo 3.0 servers come equipped with a guest motd also. You can find this directly under the motd… option.

11. How do I ban and unban users from my Ventrilo server?
To ban users from your Ventrilo server all you have to do is right click on their name and go down to Server Admin and select Ban. Provide or reason and hit OK.
To unban a user who was banned you have to go to the server ban list. You can find this feature by right clicking and going to your Server Admin menu. There you should see an option called Ban List. Once opened you should see a list of banned users on your vent. To unban someone highlight your target and click the delete button located at the bottom of the window.
